Palazzo Madama presents the exhibition “Vedova Tintoretto. In Dialogue”. Featuring over 100 paintings by the contemporary master alongside several historically and artistically significant works by the 16th-century painter, the show serves as a tribute to Vedova’s lifelong admiration for Jacopo Tintoretto. Among Tintoretto’s works on view are The trinity from the Galleria Sabauda and the famous Self-portrait from the Louvre, accompanied by copies made by Emilio Vedova during his academic training. The exhibition’s display merges Mannerism and Informal Art through the variety, power, theatricality of the painterly gesture, enhancing their expressive force.
