Palazzo Bonaparte opens its new exhibition season with “Alphonse Mucha. A Triumph of beauty and Ssduction”, the most extensive and comprehensive show ever dedicated to the artist. Born in Moravia in 1860, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague before moving to Paris, where he was captivated by Art Nouveau, a movement of which he would become one of the leading figures. The exhibition explores the themes of beauty and feminine allure through more than 150 works by Mucha, displayed alongside paintings by Boldini, classical sculptures, Renaissance masterpieces, including Botticelli’s Venus from the Royal Museums of Turin.
